I can't believe it, but eleven years ago from today, my family and I moved down here to Georgia. I have spent 2/3 of my life in Georgia. I honestly don't have anything to complain about being here either. I love the life I have here, the opportunities, the friends, the church, etc. I do miss the fresh air, Ben and Jerry's ice cream (that hasn't been shipped and transported), the AWESOME maple syrup, and my family. Hanging out with my family is probably my most missed thing about living in Vermont, but I don't think my life would be the same if I was still up there. They did have churches up there, but nothing like ours. This town, newnan, really does have some nice churches, and nice people. Vermont is a very small based state, and doesn't have big..or nice churches like ours. So today, as everyone celebrates 4th of July, my family and I get to also celebrate our 11th anniversary of living here in GA, the place where I was able to start my life.
